March 18, 2015. Washington, DC. The Sergeant Thomas Joseph Sullivan Center proudly announces its gateway Spring sponsorship levels for the new Team Sergeant Sullivan Center Activist Jerseys. Members of Team SSC will receive activist booklets and training materials in the fight against Toxic Wounds as they raise funds for The SSC. All donations including sponsorship are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Team Sergeant Sullivan Center is the grassroots fundraising and advocacy community of The Sergeant Thomas Joseph Sullivan Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2010 in memory of a Marine Sergeant who died from illnesses following toxic exposures in the post 9/11 Iraq War.
The Mission of The Sergeant Sullivan Center is to promote effective and transparent healthcare and associated services including suicide prevention for present and former members of the United States military services, particularly those with environmental and occupational illnesses, through research and inquiry, education and outreach, counseling and advocacy, and by ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and military laws governing healthcare and medical practice, guided always by the principle that giving knowledge is giving hope.
